Mild remap ?
Hello, We are new to all this and are seeking some advice. Would someone please let us know if their is a remap available that would suit a 2015 90"SW that is used mainly for on road purposes.
We also have a 1950 Series that is only used when we have a lot of time on our hands to get anywhere
All advice appreciated
Thumbs Up

BAS or 'Alive' on here mate.

Both offer well researched and developed 'maps'... Thumbs Up YOLO... You Only Live Once...

Welcome to Def2 Thumbs Up

I can highly recommend Bell Auto Services (BAS) remap. I have the 170AB remap with Hi-Flow intercooler which has totally transformed our 110. I'd imagine the 150AB maybe more suitable for your needs but discuss it with Pete Bell. The BAS150AB is the remap LR used on there last limited editions. It will add about 30hp but it's more about the engine characteristics, so much smoother and more refined. Thumbs Up

I'd also happily go to Alive or IRB Developments, I couldn't decide. James

Thanks Pete. I will give him a call. It is more for smooth running than power we are looking for.
I am obliged for your trouble

Thanks for your reassurance Corgi 1. My 90 is booked into CSK next week for the Dynatrol Extreme Treatment, the Alive remap and the Nakatanenga Wheel Carrier. My birthday Pressies from my wife.It will be interesting to see the difference, as I was a little wary given the cost on a 2.2 which seems to be twice what the other Defenders are. We will see, but after speaking to Chris I am sure this is money well spent. I will post an update when it is completed

Another vote for Dynachip. Great job by Mike and hell come to you, wherever you are.

Runs smoother with a little more boost at low revs, so it picks up quicker.

EGR deleted too.

Hello

I have not done it yet,,,, still deciding what to go for however when I renewed my policy I specifically asked what the increase would be...

£50 which sounds fair,

My list of mods is / will be getting longer and longer...

Hi, My Remap is being done on Wednesday/Thursday and will report back.
My insurers did not impose any loading saying and I quote" as you are driving a brick nothing is going to make it that fast as too pose a serious risk", I might add that I am only going for a stage 1 tune up , any higher may have brought about a different response!

^ If I drive my slow brick into a normal car at slow brick speeds.... IT WILL make a lot of damage to both cars...

Seems very odd comment for an insurance company? they normally add a premium for anything they can.

Fair play though, report back on your slightly quicker brick Thumbs Up
