I have DAB!
Finished installing it all last night in my td5, what a difference! Fender is now a real pleasure to drive again. Fitted a Kenwood BT502DAB mechless, partnered to the Kenwood active sub (mounted to the cubby) with Vibe speakers front and rear

On the top right of the windscreen, The ariel came with the unit as well as a microphone for the bluetooth call making. So I removed the A pillar cover, ran the wires behind the instrument cluster and up the side of the screen.

Yeah came in the box. i'd done some research on here and the rest of the net about dab aerials and if fitted right they seem ok.

I fitted an external one in the place of the original, was a bit pricey though, £47 if I remember correctly, worht it though Thumbs Up Optimists say the glass is half full..
Pessimists say the glass is half empty..
Engineers say the glass is twice the size it needs to be!

Didn't need to scrape anything, as long as the earth tab was on metal it was fine. The fact that you stick it to a surface surely can't mean it's vital it's bare metal
