3 miles into the 400 mile drive to bring the new old Defender home a loud clunk from the seat belt real, and its locked solid.
So, in a Halfords car park (any excuse to but new tools ey ), took it apart to find the two plastic prongs sat in the coil spring had snapped. Also these aren't original LR seat belt. Long story and a bit of swearing cut short, swapped the passenger reel for the drivers, 7.5 hours later pull up in Dundee! Now looking to replace the belt(s), anyone have any recommendations? Other than original LR ones, anyone used aftermarket one that would recommend? |

Might be worth looking at TMD. £180 a pair.
Not sure how that compares to OE? |

Cheers Phil, the Exmoor Trim ones look pretty good.
http://www.exmoortrim.co.uk/our-models/def...uckle.html I guess its a bit of false economy, don't want to spend huge amounts, but i want something that will last! |
