3 miles into the 400 mile drive to bring the new old Defender home a loud clunk from the seat belt real, and its locked solid.
So, in a Halfords car park (any excuse to but new tools ey  ), took it apart to find the two plastic prongs sat in the coil spring had snapped. Also these aren't original LR seat belt.
Long story and a bit of swearing cut short, swapped the passenger reel for the drivers, 7.5 hours later pull up in Dundee! Now looking to replace the belt(s), anyone have any recommendations? Other than original LR ones, anyone used aftermarket one that would recommend? |

Probably Britax, brand Leaders. I am sure that would also be the manufacturer that Land Rover use For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

I think I bought new ones from Exmoor Trim. They were for forward facing fold ups in the rear but almost certain they did the ones for the rest of the vehicle as well. They didn't cost me anywhere near 180 and I needed the rear corner brackets as well. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.
