Focal 100AC Speakers

I'm not a hi-fi or ICE buff, but I do like to listen to some decent music whilst on the move (the soundproofing in my Defender is quite good).

I haven't got the original head unit as the PO upgraded it some time ago for a Clarion. It's fair to say it's not too bad albeit quite dated now. It's IPhone compatible which suits me and my iTunes.

I was bought some Focal 100AC speakers as a gift and I have to say that they are transformational. Those who know their stuff won't be at all surprised by this given the low spec of the factory speakers, but nevertheless I would recommend the Focal units - which are a direct replacement.

Obviously at 100mm they are quite limited, and as I said if you are a ICE buff then you wouldn't entertain them. However if you just wish to improve the sound very easily without going too far into the realms of proper upgrades then you could do much worse.

I'm happy anyway!
