Best 2 burner gas ring

Have used a coleman petrol stove for years, thinking of changing over to gas for ease of lighting (not having to prime for a cup of tea) so was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a compact unit for outside cooking. there seems to be a variety on the market, but as you can't try before you buy, any advise would be great.

2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 SW Orkney Grey

I've just bought a Primus Tupike. Alas, not field tested yet., but initial findings are that it's a great bit of kit. Well made too. Fits in a K470 Zarges like the Partner Steel.

It's looking like I will stay with petrol and have a small single gas with clip in canaster for the early morning brew (her in doors can fire that up......)

best points: the availability of petrol - and if you don't mind loosing (or singing) your eye brows - they are the best

I use lawn mower fuel from garden tool centre, 5litres about £15 and is "pure"? smells a lot like coleman fuel ...

We bought a Coleman 2 burner stove in Australia which is really good. Unfortunately it is not available in Europe. There are similar ones, but they only take the small disposable canisters, whereas the Aussie one can also be connected to a refillable propane cylinder. This is the one - we fetched it home with us, as well as a bunch of figments that will enable us to use it with a Calor bottle.

Get a jetboil, for the quick morning cuppa

I've been using one of these, Primus Njord Duo and pretty impressed
