Not to bad. The bars across the top of the burner act like a windbreak of sorts.

Barney, have you tried somewhere like Cotswolds or Ellis Brigham. They'll probably have to order it but should be able to get hold of one for you 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone
2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone
2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW

For a Coleman 2 burner stove, you can get an adapter to run it on gas (propane).I have one for my dual fuel powerhouse model off of Amazon. Haven't used it yet, but the reviews are good.I now have a triple fuel stove! Razz Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000

^^^^^^^ Hi - would be interested to know what you think of it once you've used it properly. I am currently looking for a 2 burner stove but want something as light and packable as possible.

Saw this today which is also tempting, although its not released yet......

Obviously its not cheap and would need 2 of them, but it looks light and small, and the 220g butane canister stores inside it for travel and use.

Hi gabe3105 will do,we are away in a couple of weeks and will give it some use then, that looks a good bit of kit quite different to our new cooker, for us we are fair weather campers and also enjoy spending time on the beach (so long as it's dog friendly) so it suits us with having a shoulder strap also the gas bottles stay fitted even when folded up,but I can see the one in your link being a very durable and good bit of kit including a charging point I can definitely see the bonuses in that if they are required Thumbs Up Paul Tash n Barney

MSR Whisperlite Universal model does gas and fuel (white spirits, kero and unleaded petrol)

Comes with a windshield too ...

Pricey, but lightweight and robust. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

Stumbled on this new model two-stove burner from Jetboil. So compact that it is actually transported in the 5-litre pot:

That being said: I'll keep our Coleman for colder destinations no matter what.

Greetings,

Joris

The Coleman Hyperflame Fyrecadet gets a great review based on which we did get one for outside cooking with the caravan. Van's not ready yet so still untested by us:

https://www.tentworld.com.au/buy-sale/cole...rner-stove

Also don't know if it is available in the UK but many of the Coleman products seem to be. Also recommend the Jetboil, I use one of these with it's small frypan for hiking & tracking as well as in the back of the Landy. Even has a coffee press for good old fashioned coffee on the go. For tea in the morning you can also carefully put a clean egg in the cold water bring slowly to the boil & have a hard boiled egg with your tea. I've been lucky so far! Smile
