The guy from Autoglass said it was better than the one which came out

You could see where the water had come in when the screen was removed Shocked I watched him do it Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey
Taking it to a dealer is no guarantee that the problem will be fixed as sometimes they cannot or do not replicate the circumstances under which water gets in. Fixing leaks in Defenders can sometimes mean several trips to the dealers and even then people have had to DIY. Steve.

The issue of dirt collecting under the seal is very well documented and unless the dealers remove the screen (which they are very reluctant to do as there is a risk of breakage) the cause may never be cured. Read the link posted in the quote below from over 18 months ago for more information.....

Thud,

Ignore any 'doom mongerers' you have no worries whatsoever, also get the seal off and the area thoroughly cleaned. I had two replaced in short succession by Autoglass and it is an ideal time to get the crud cleaned out under the seal and get it sealed correctly.
My advice would be to be in attendance and read carefully the issue of dirt ingress in the thread below, especially my posts and Fekete's on pages 1 and 2....
