My insurance didn't care how many seats I had! Was very clear that it had 9, they just weren't fussed.

Remember that in doing the test you are learning how to pass the test, not how to tow a trailer well. I'm quite happy towing and reversing trailers, my practice has been a small vehicle towing and reversing a single axle trailer. Just need the tuition so I can pass the test!

Well, I passed!

1 Minor, for shunting forwards once on the reverse manoeuvre. Did it perfectly 5 times in the morning, then ran a bit wide on the test. Probably could have recovered it, but just no point when I had the easy option out!

Other than that it's just general good roadcraft. Mirrors and more mirrors, indicating early, planning ahead, getting the speed down before junctions and turnings. All things we know we should do but probably don't. I certainly think the training was worthwhile, gave me a few hours to have my bad habits pointed out to me, get to know the vehicle and learn all the proper processes for uncoupling/recoupling in the test.
