As a relatively new Defender owner myself, I would say use the search function on the forum, rather than posting a long list of questions you'd like the answer to. There is an incredible amount of useful information on here, if you look for it. I researched for about 6 months before I started the modification process. That not only allowed me to make more informed decisions, but also gave me the time to get used to the car, which was very different from anything I'd previously owned!
Following all the research, my list of "must haves" looked considerably different to what I'd initially envisaged.... |

Couldn't agree with you more redline I'm new here too and don't know anybody but in asking some questions I've interacted with some nice guys that are happy to offer me advice.
