Thanks.
I've been wondering what is this strange noise I hear when I stop the
engine, but clutch not pressed. Probably the clutch then.

Time to get the tools out, ordered the output shaft kit and clutch
from Ashcroft.. Brgds,

Juha

Just about to send mine in for a new clutch at 89K, started to rattle alot Sad I am also going to get them to fit this conversion, any Idea if the seals will need replacing at any time as a matter of course or should they last?

Got it back after having the clutch, slave cylinder, output shaft, swivel seal, king pins re-shimmed and the brakes bled!
What a difference! Quiet and smooth. Saw the old clutch and glad I had it swapped, it rattled like a tambourine and the small inner springs were shot! The output shaft had the usual dry rust and was stuck in place, they had to weld a slide hammer onto their removal tool to get it out! I had them put in the uprated HD clutch and slave cylinder so should be good for another 80 odd K at least Thumbs Up

No, didn't do master, it's fairly easy to get to later but the slave being in the bell housing is a must while everything is apart Thumbs Up
HD drive flanges this weekend should see her as smooth as Sean Connery Rolling with laughter
