There's nothing on there I have not used extensively.
Next week I off for a 4 day wild camping off road trip with 4 other cars.

Doubtless all of your equipment is used extensively but is your roof the right place for it ? By raising the centre of gravity you are making the vehicle unstable, no amount of spring restriction is going to cure that, in fact it'll probably make it worse.
