New truck looks awesome, you must be well chuffed. Are the Goodyears a lot noiser on the road than the Contis it came with? Amazing to see them together on the same vehicle, they look a lot more aggressive. Like the sawtooths. |

Just been for a good run..
I cant really say the Contis are a lot noisier... If any? Its wet so got the usual wheel arch rush..but that will go with the sound proofing. Overall the 2.2 is Quieter, Smoother and appears more refined than my old 2.4. More impressed than I expected to be Clemmo Make today a little better than yesterday but not so good as tomorrow.... Got it! Good service from Lloyds, didn't get Pims or pizza though! Lovely sunny drive home and I am amazed at how much more refined it is to our 2009 90. Put it straight into the barn and although it pains me, will try to resist using it until I have added to the dealers waxing... Not sure if I can cope without using it though! I am loving your KBX grills, especially the side ones. And seeing your Sawtooths has made me envious, I was so frustrated we couldn't factory spec them without the black pack.... Glad you happy..and agree with you with regards to "more refined" I was also after Sawtooths when the dealer said they couldn't supply. I'm pleased I didn't go full Black Pack and I sourced my own wheels as "Take offs" Enjoy your Defender!..( Barn sounds Useful!) I also felt the black Pack was not for me...only wanting the wheels. I now will have to source some genuine Sawtooths. Barn is great and a work in progress, but sadly I only have 5" to work with regarding the length of the 110 and shutting the doors! Which seat covers have you gone for? I am considering the LI quilted in sand. Cheers, Leon. |
