Puma AS 10
Hello does any one know if you change the as 10 unit and key fob will it need to be programmed in or just a straight change cheers

The alarm unit will also need to be coded to the engine ECU or the vehicle will not start.
What version of the 10AS are you fitting as a replacement, the ones with the black housing have problems being programmed by third party diagnostic tools (strangely, the green ones have problems being programmed by the official diagnostic software - L/R's SDD)

Thanks for help, I ve got the green one,tried everything to get it to start ,relays battery starter AA,ordered a nanocom to try to sort the immobilizer,I ve got an 08 110 utility ,had the problem when still in warranty just had to keep locking and unlocking the doors then it would start,LR said they could find nothing wrong with it and I should nt leave the doors open to long with the keys in the ignition???cheers

I have had a few duff ones from breakers over the years i think its from them pulling them out with the battery still connected.

There are known issues with the passive immobiliser if the keys are left in the ignition, or if two sets of keys are in range of the exciter coil in the column. Try turning off the passive immobiliser with your Nanocom to see if it helps. The vehicle is still immobilised when locked with PI turned off.

All sorted I got a nanocom and turned off the passive alarm,started first time hopefully problem sorted
