United Kingdom 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Orkney Grey
This is our camping set up, not very rugged but ideal for our family needs.

The tent is huge with two sleeping compartments and a huge living area, ideal for cooking and sitting whilst raining! The tent packs away in to a bag approx. 800x500x500mm, dries quickly and easily liftable by one person.

We get the tent, gear for 2 adults, 2 kids, picnic table, stove & gas cylinder, duvets (well you have to don't you) food and everything in the back compartment of the 110 (which still has the two seats in folded up). Whilst it is a tight pack its easily doable.

The tent was only just over £200 and is a great space. I'm not sure I'd trust it in high winds and I'd say was only a two season tent. It does take about 20mins to erect the outer skin to get rain proof then about another 20 mins to fully move into (including putting up stove and setting beds up etc) so not quick. But once up the Defender is still free to drive to the pub!

Uncle Ray,

Nice setup Bow down

Would you have some pics of your stove & flashing installation and have you just fitted the flashing solution to the Foxwing? I ask because I am procrastinating about fitting the stove/flashing to the RV4 awning or the Foxwing. Any opinions are very welcome?

Cheers

Steve
