Also try AES Auto Electrical Supplies for parts (wiring and connectors)

http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/mobile/

I ended up buying my Anderson connectors and made my own jump leads and got the parts from Totberry connectors

http://www.torberry.co.uk

Just remember if you fit and Anderson connector externally you need to have an isolator switch so your not constantly sending power to and external location where it may get wet Thumbs Up Russell

Arc99: do you have a picture or wiring diagram for your set up?

I do somewhere on a fag packet, if its not to dark when S.H.M.B.O. turns up I'll take a photo and work it out.
It wasn't that hard. Live in from original battery, earth, live and earth out to second battery.
Towsure supplied mine without destructions so I rang and they were must helpful with over the phone instruction.
I don't exactly know how the little box works but they told me that it recognises when the first battery if full and then starts to charge the second battery. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Thanks Gavinpm that kit looks exactly like what I was looking for Thumbs Up

Will take care to locate them somewhere dry(land rover dry that is) thanks for the heads up K9F

I'm wandering whether to try and squeeze the second battery and all the other stuff into the battery compartment as is or weather to have the battery compartment as is and then to have the toolbox as second battery and then have to find somewhere else to put the tools and such.

you go link he gave you , then downloads and there is a wiring diagram pdf thing

they ok to charge second battery , but wont link batterys for starting

can just use a standard heavy duty relay , like a glowplug relay and just switch it by ign feed so battery charges when ign on , ok it links all the time ign is on engine running or not , the towsure is a voltage sensing so links when alternator is charging so bit better in that way
