dpf failed 1300 miles

Went for a lovely drive today to defender 2 member "fish" to collect my new wheels (thanks fish) 3 week old 110 and mil light and limp mode all the way home for the 110 miles return leg.
Landrover assist say it's the DPF sensor has failed, not sure how common this is but limp mode reminded me of my old series 3 Landrover, really really slow.

Anyway thanks to Fish for the wheels and to Landrover for the long slow drive home
