Grille colour coding.
Who has a colour coded grille I.e. KBX / SVX or any other?.
Especially interested in the KBX, obviously you can have body colour light surrounds and black centre grille and various colour combos.

Two weeks ago my Defender 110 was delivered. I asked the dealer to do the grille and headlight surrounds (as well as the inside dash consul) in Indus silver which they did without any problem. Looks great - just like the silver pack and I didn't have to wait any longer than the usual wait to get on sent to Australia.

personally think the KBX ones look awful, especially in silver or grey. The somehow manage to look cheap but are very expensive!

I think the standard LR gloss black ones look the bees knees Thumbs Up

Save the money of the KBX and get some other bits colour coded or book a weekend away Whistle


just my thoughts, some people really like them! Cheers, David

All of my KBX grills and vents (top and side) are painted black which makes for a nice contrast against the grey paintwork of the Landy.

EDIT: My KBX front light surrounds are color coded with the grey though; just the main grill is black. - Andrew -

KBX Grill, Headlight Surrounds and Hi-Force Vents all colour coded (Stornoway Grey)
LRX Wheels and Wing Top Checker Plates also Stornoway Grey
Bonnet, Bumper, Steering Guard, Roof and Wheel Arches Silver Carbon Fibre Wrap

Various dual colour combinations work well, as SupreAyf shows.. it's up to you.
