Handed front springs
So I bought and fitted Britpart HD springs all round and I am very happy with the handling except for the fact that the front now sits up higher than the rear. I am therefore going to refit the original front springs. Of course i mixed them up and was wondering if they were handed? They both have 2 blobs of yellow paint on them and they are both the same height. Any thoughts?

A mate of mine had the exact same issue with a mk1 discovery. He reckons they were handed by markings on the springs.

Pretty sure TDCI springs are not 'handed'

Fronts should be White/Green/Yellow ... I think Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

All my Defnders front springs have been handed, but I think your right and the post 2007 vehs are not. They only have yellow paint on them and it's the same on both springs.

Are the Britpart springs handed? You got the yellow ones, I guess? Are they standard length or lift?

Thanks

It's a 110 CSW. Springs are the same height and painted with yellow blobs.

If colour markings are identical, then they are identical rated springs, no 'handing' .... Thumbs Up Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

you get them for both 110 and 90s. std LR part at the bottom of spring that located it. fit another on top of original but inverted with spacers between to stop crushing of plates. Cheers

Based on that chart, my 110 has 2 front fight springs fitted from the factory!
