Had rats indoors just once.
We had ivy growing up the walls which the rats were climbing and getting in through the soffits.
Removing the ivy was a cure for that.

Sorry also meant to say, first paces to trap/bait in domestic dwelling are below sinks in kitchen and utility room, hot press/airing cupboard, below stairs and attic. Mice can survive by just licking condensation from water pipes so follow them quite often. Try and persuade the wife not to rearrange the house while the trapping is ongoing as it can just drive them into hiding and prolong the process. When it gets to the stage use wire wool to block holes much better than foam-Oh and stop the kids from eating in their bedrooms, the b**gers (the mice that is) love empty crisp bags and chocolate wrappers.

And don't forget that if a rat can get its head through a hole then it will get the rest of its body through. Don't be tempted to pop them off as they scamper on the lawn with a 12 bore from the upstairs window as it leaves big divits in the lawn Whistle

3 mice...albeit one had big ears but don't think that makes it a rat does it?

Got a rat trap but it's not caught anything yet just keep getting mice......might pop out see if I got any more

Damn little blitters!

They've nicked another trap!

And the two traps that were in the bait station have both triggered, all the bait gone but no mice!

Evil or Very Mad

if you only going to use poison then really you need 2 or 3 types (different style of poison ) and change every 1-2 weeks ,then keep baiting until its not being taken then you should be clear

have you tried a proper trapping trap or just poison as if there is other food about poison might not work as well

Using the poison on top of traps.

Is it normal for the blitters to run off with the traps?

Had this before (taking poison out of bait station but avoiding traps) so turned traps through 180 degrees and seemed to work for a while.
