If you mean into the OBD port, I purchased a Y lead. It plugs into the original OBD port and then has 2 female sockets. I use 1 for the SG and the other is available for diagnostic tools the dealer has. All tucked nicely away in the dash.
The original OBD port just pops out of the holding frame it's in. 110 D250 SE HT

Thx, order one from amazone.

What about my power question, any ideas/feedback on that? Just a bit concerned it becomes just another power drainer.

Edit: never mind, it's in the manual => you can have ultragauge detect it and turn itself off apparently.
