Another 2002 ex-owner here, mine was quite tidy which was unusual for me at the time as I usually went for near to the end type of car, cheap to buy and when it started to go wrong they would go for scrap and I'd just get something else. Cheap type of motoring and plenty of variety, allthough I did end up having about 3 Volvo 145's and a couple of 245's in the space of 5 years!
I do remember I used to get an issue with the 2002 when driving loose gravel type roads, stones would be thrown up from underneath into the engine bay and the fan would sometimes flick them at the fuel filter, caused a couple of fuel leaks. More likely to be attributed to my driving skills at the time |

These stand in my garage.
The one with the box is a Yamaha Fazer 1000. Used to get to work etc. 25,000 on it since new....registered January this year. One with out the box is Suzuki B-King 1340cc and 181bhp at the rear wheel. Used to look, and sound awesome! 12,000 (scary) miles since new in Feb 2008. ^^ I don't know I have to say that amazon is my favourite of the bunch apart from the defender obviously! I toyed with getting one over my defender but running costs were a lot more. That 4.2 straight six diesel is awesome in my opinion! 2001 TD5 110 County Station Wagon - sold

I need to say I don't usually drive around with a childs bike flag at the back of a car. Click image to enlarge Bought it for the wife as a shopping car. Not sure why it's always in need of new tyres and brakepads, or do I... Wouldn't say so if judged by its size, but a very capable tow car as well. |
