Dash Lights
Hi, my dash light linked to the temp gauge has packed in. I am not good at electrics so in advance of stripping dash I was wondering if there is a separate bulb or is it integrated into the temp gauge unit.

I have a 05 TD5, thanks in advance Sweatysock

If its anything like my 1999 td5 then from memory, its two screws under the dash pod (one by heater cold/warm & and one by the fan speed) and a couple either side of the dash pod.
The pod should pull forward and you should be able to see all the wires.
The lights are inset into the gauge you will need a set of sturdy tweezers or thin long pliers to remove the light bulbs by twisting them out.

You might need to unplug some of the wires that go into the back of pod to get enough room to move it around.
Good luck! 1999 Defender TD5 110
