Any body know how you do it and what tools you will need to carry with you in case you run out of fuel?
Thanks | ||

Pressurise the fuel tank slightly, which will force fuel through the fuel lines and bleed the air out.
I use my tyre compressor, wrapped with plastic at the end and inserted into the tank filler. I then give the tank a little blast of air, which is generally enough to bleed the system. Once the fuel is flowing out of the coupling freely I reconnect and the start the car. I have used this method after running out of fuel and when changing diesel filters.

Ive been meaning to ask this question myself for some time now Could I make up a pump myself with a boat fuel hand pump and standard high pressure hose with a one way valve??? Land Rover's don't leak oil, they simply mark their territory!

Any idea what the procedure is for bleeding it? i.e. what goes where and what you do and in what order. Thanks
