I've fitted mantec flexi lite to my tdci's. Easy to fit if you have a riv nut tool. I didn't have one on my first snorkel so borrowed one from the dealer.

What vehicle are you putting it on?
The Mantec one I believe is not a snorkel but a raised air intake used primarily to breath cleaner air higher up. The Safari Equip Snorkel can be used for wading if all sealed correctly, and with the TDCi you have to extend the breathers, TD5 maybe move the ECU etc....Other more knowledgeable members can expand on this ....I bought my Safari Equip one cos I love the look of them, it will never be used 
I couldn't find any good close up pictures when trying to decide bteween elephants trunk or trilby! Can take some closer pics if you want  Other types are available of course....one that looks like a mushroom, one that looks like a salad mixing bowl etc All cool 
This one is on a Mantec RAI but has replaced the top cone for an ARB pre-filter (causes a cyclone):

I have the Mantec one at the rear of the picture above, it was on the vehicle when I bought it.
I like the looks of it and have no plans to replace. There is no induction noise that I have noticed. I have no plans to test it's efficency in water 
I have had Safari snorkels before and the build quality is excellent and they do what they say on the tin, however, if you are seriously wading I would suggest you buy the V8 version as the moulding is all one piece terminating in a tube that you then fit a hose too that leads to the air filter - this is the most 'sealed' version available - not sure about the Puma version but the TD5 / 300 version joins to the original hose set up at the wing and would be a LOT harder to seal effectively V8:

That last picture appears to be for the wrong side on a 300/TD5. IIRC it's the 200tdi that has the intake on the near side. Darren

On our Disco 2 TD5, Safari Snorkel, on our 300TDi 110 a Safari Snorkel, on our TD4 110 a Safari Snorkel.
All three of our vehicles do go wading as well

You can fit a pre filter to a Safari Snorkel if going into dusty environs. However if you have a light bar fitted then it might impede onto the prefilter. However in Australia it is possible to get a filter 'sock' which fits into the top of the snorkel pipe Yes you can say we are happy with Safari Snorkels
Like a lot of good quality items with reputable names you get the copycat inferior products trying to trade off the original name. There are also some very good copies on the market - a pal of mine supplies snorkels (but not Landy ones) and his are equally as well made as the genuine Safari ones .... www.aliensnorkels.co.uk

You can seal your mantec up also it's very similar to the oem raised air intake. There's alot yes induction noise but more wind noise at higher speeds.
