I did this to mine after replacing an already fitted ply floor that had been screwed in. The ally has been riveted and bolted where appropriate. Plate is 3mm all round.

No, you use the same stalk. You just program the relay each time you use it.

Turn on intermittent wipers
They wipe
Turn off wipers, until enough rain on screen
Turn on intermittent wipers

...

It gives you variable speed intermittent wipers.

Ah i see. so i guess i would need to change the wiper stork to be able to change the speed?
