I bought a 4 year old Defender which (allegedly) came with a LR 1 year warranty. It's up for service now, if I take it to a different LR main dealer will the warranty apply for any faults they find?

Jim,
Even with flush bolts it doesn't shut flush due to the thickness of the hinge. Flush bolts help as does the thin super magnet I used. |

Thanks for that. I've looked at the lid and think that it' not just the bolt head; the whole lid is raised up too far by the hinge and the way it all doesn't quite fit into the original casting.
