Does anybody know if the exhaust pipe from the cat to the centre box is mild or stainless steel. It is magnetic but so is the new stainless exhaust Iam going to fit.

Had this problem . The switch contact had a high resistance . Replaced it from underneath using a 22 mm spanner. A bit tight for space but not too difficult.

Found access to the front u/j nipple was impossible with a 45 or 90 degree nipple. Fitted a 65 degree nipple and no more problems. Available on eBay.
