The truck is due for an oil change, do it every 5k here. Can’t get the good stuff C1, so would you leave it & do it when I can source the proper grade or use a good quality 5/30?

You can use any 5w30 ACEA C2, C3, A3/B4, A5/B5, API CF (Toyota).
Ford spec WSS-M2C913-x specifies among otbers, special adfitives for timing chain wear, fuel economy etc. |

| Oil mixing is ok as long you use same brand and league (in general). i.e. 5W30 and 5W40 both being A3/B4 or A5/B5 with A3/B4 etc. |

| I think the 2.4 does not have direct sensor to measure the coolant temp. Instead has a sensor at the back of the cylinder head IIRC. Maybe this one is faulty. As well, there are 3 types (basically 2) ... |

Was the CKP holder already in place in the new engine? To my knowledge this setup is done before the cylinder head is installed. I may be wrong...
As well, make sure the injectors are original Dens ... |

| There is a diesel priming tool for the 2.4 Tdci. The poor man option is to blow/pressurize the fuel tank until no bubbles come from the fuel line valve. |
