We just sold an old tatty white 04 plate basic 90HT with 68k and a blown engine at auction. It returned £14700+vat and I fell over with disbelief. Ride like you stole it!!

Yep, well maintained Landy’s that haven’t been customised are fetching strong money at present. I went to a classic car sale at Ascot a few weeks ago and a tatty 1996 CSW sold for close to £16,000.

Well sold. A 120k second hand, engine-changed 10yr old Defender commanding almost £30k and some on this forum think that the all-new Grenadier might be pricing itself too high at the rumoured £45k start price. Monsieur Le Grenadier

As much as they say, I don't think the Grneadier will be 45K. IOt will be closer to Defender money so 50K.

I would agree with that. And that is with it having no legacy, bound to have teething problems and I suspect parts supply will be an issue.
