I wouldnt think so - unless there is a resistor, inwhich you could find a different rated one. Mike

You could try another one to see if it's the same. Mines a bit noisy, but most of that seems to be airflow noise not the actual fan. At least when it's raining, I can't here the fan above the noise of the wiper motor! Bosun |

Errmm.
try very noisy when stationary. my dad is convinced its broken - he's got a Disco 3 so he wouldn't really understand would he? |

Turn it onto maximum for a minute or so then turn it back to position 1 - you can barely hear it - it seems very quiet then

reminds me of the times when I'd get back from a blast in the caterham, move one of the cars only to think so things broke cause I couldn't hear anything....  |
