United Kingdom 2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey
A couple of years ago, there was a lot of bad press about the RAC in particular. I think they got a star spot on BBC's Watchdog for leaving some people (including single Women) for hours at the side of the road.

When I was covered by the RAC they always turned up. I'm just surprised that they don't send a contractor out if they are pushed?

I hope you got things sorted, TJ101?

Breaking down on a Motorway was one of those nightmare scenarios I hope never happens to me. I'm glad you had the sense to get out of your vehicle. It's very tempting to stay in the dry when its tipping it down, but it's a really dangerous to be.

Far better being a tad wet, than dead ,
Wifes first time towing on a rope, iffy on the motorway, but needs must, not even my car, a loan Censored , (as someone said,
a 2nd class ride, is better that a 1st class walk !)

I will decide about the RAC, depending on there reply to my mail, asking how they will attempt to sort the issues California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Good luck waiting for a response. I have found customer services drops easily into two categories.

1) Friendly approachable staff who practice empathy and do what they can to make amends for your unhappiness

2) Brick walls

Be careful with VEHICLE AGE

I have one vehicle that's 21 years old! That's not covered on a lot of breakdown cpompanies

RAC is any vehicle with a VALID MOT so I stayed with them...

Hi guys and thanks for the replies I went with green flag as the cover was what I wanted so I will probably resurrect this thread when the zepplin declines to provide any further forward motion by itself Rolling with laughter Big Cry
