Gordon Lamb LandRover Chesterfield
First to post in here Thumbs Up

Bought my new defender from Gordon Lamb in Chesterfield. Spoke to Peter in Sales all the way through. I live in Norwich so a lot of telephone conversations. Excellent service! Cant fault him. If a job is worth doing....

Its worth doing well....

So get someone who knows what they are doing! Smile

Sales people usually are good, but it is the blokes in overalls you really need to know, especially the service manager. Once the sale is complete it is the service manager who you will be dealing with. When talking to the sales guy get him to introduce you to the service manager and see how you get on with him. Remember your three year warranty and any work involved depends on the sevice manager and his staff. Sadly this is where many problems have arisen with people on this site. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Hear what you're saying and I was introduced to all the various staff. As you say the real test will be when (if Smile) I need to go back but nothing I've seen so far has suggested that will be an issue. I'm more than happy to give them the benefit of the doubt at this stage....

From what you say I think I would give them the benefit of the doubt too, especially as you were introduced to the whole family. Thumbs Up 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
