the engine was changed in pakistan under warranty because one of the pistonrings was stuck and had ruined the cylinder. Great service from landrover, they airlifted the new engine out to us.

Great pictures and has got me revved up wanting to do something similar Thumbs Up Iceland is high on my list of places. My wife is Turkish so have been there a few times - off again next month, but never driven it. Now that could be a very good plan!!! Whistle

Excellent web page you have going - thanks for sharing Cool Simon

Thanks guys

We are planning a new mega trip in 2013. We want to go around southamerica for 10 month.
That is the main reason that I have mounted the extra fueltanks (capacity now up to 220 liters).

I just looked up "git" and found this:

Git is mild profanity with origins in British English for a silly, incompetent, stupid, annoying, senile elderly or childish person. It is usually an insult, more severe than twit or idiot but less severe than Censored or arsehole.

Yes but its a joke. I meant it in the way of "how come you can spend so long away and I'm jealous", its not an insult in this case Laughing
