Not that impressed to be honest. I’ll knock it back and redo it but doesn’t seem hopeful.

I did mine about 3 years ago with Halfords rattle cans and it’s not great, but yours is pretty bad. I think I’ll stick with Halfords

How are folk doing the wee strip only just visible under the rear door? Any photos of how you masked it off? About to tackle mine and any tips to do this awkward bit would be appreciated..

Whats wrong with a quart of 2k black Delfleet at £12

I do like autogylms satin black in the rattle cans though seems good stuff.

If you are going to go with Buzzweld make sure that you use it straight away. I tried to use 11 month old aerosols last weekend, None of my 3 RE cans worked worth a damn. I asked for help on the Buzzweld Facebook page. A couple of helpful replies but the rest were along the lines of "What do you expect after 11 months" "They wont work because the paint is so good" (!!!).

I did my front bumper early 2017 with the kit and it still looks OK but rust starting to come through. Probably says more about the quality of my prep as it was pretty nasty

2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 HT Fuji White

I've coated mine in Bilt Hamber's Dynax UB which, although it's meant for underbody protection, leaves a nice smooth black satin finish and is dead easy to top up.

It's lasted for several years with occasional topping up and still hasn't gone rusty.
