New rattle
I have a new rattle, at certain speeds I notice a similar but higher pitched rattle coming from the engine, I think.

It is a bit like a bag nails bouncing up and down on the rattling engine, if that makes sense.

Could this be the injector rattle that others have mentioned?

I am at 6,500 miles and the way things are going it will be newer by the time it gets to 10,000 miles!

While on the subject of loose nuts and bolts, I'm getting a little concerned at how many have come loose, or have not been tightened up correctly in the first place.

Heat shield as already mentiond.
Earth strap to chassis, by front off-side wheel.
All three door stay springy things (on my 90).
PAS fluid reservoir.
A/C drier.
Side step bracket.
Not a nut or bolt, but the fuel breather has come adrift.

Although none of the above were strictly "safety critical", it makes me wonder what else may come loose that is safety critical!!!

Bosun.
