are the rear seats of a 130 the same as the rear seats of 110??

Unless you mean the older td5 or older second row benches. In which case they are identical and differ only in the way the back is retained. The DCPU has a bent piece of plate bolted to the ends which attaches the back of each part of the bench to the rear capping. The CSW has a latch mechanism which allows the seat to fold down. Tge physical seat is the same though

Good point, I forgot the TD5 option.
I have always been amazed that it wasn't until the advent of the TDCi that JLR started to fit head restraints to the second row seats. I find this extraordinary (but safety has never been a priority with the Defender). |

I find it amazing that the TD5 style seats persisted for so long, given that they're possible the most uncomfortable things on the planet!!

I'm pretty sure that the brackets that secure the seats to the floor / underside crossmember frame are a different size between the DC version and 110 SW version. it's a Landrover thing...
