2013 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Santorini Black
Creating a dead puma!
Afternoon chaps,

Bit of a random one chaps, off on hols next week so 90 will be boxed in on drive with diskloc etc

Would someone be able to pm me with a fuel feed stop solution just for a bit extra? Fuse?

More the merrier and all that

Disconnecting the inertia switch or getting one of the inertia switch kits isn’t a bad temporary measure to kill the engine. Tucking the plug end away somewhere in the engine compartment adds a bit of a challenge to any would-be thief. It won’t stop anyone with a brain cell for long but any delay is good.

Only if its 2.2.(or TD5)
I don't think the 2.4 has the inertia switch as it's there to cut the power to the electric low-pressure pump in the event of an accident. The 2.4 does not have the electric pump so no need for the inertia switch.

How about removing the starter relay under the drivers seat? Unlikely a thief will be carrying an extra relay!

You'd need to whip them all out of both locations or the tea leaf could simply move one of the others.

Back from hols now and defenders still on the drive Thumbs Up

Thankyou for your advice chaps, boring subject i know but needs must.

Just have to remember to reinstate what you’ve done before a “non starting puma” thread gets draughted up!
