How to get the dipstick tube removed
Help!!!

The top of the dipstick has broken off and is lodged in the dipstick tube. I removed the top bolt but it won't come out.

Is it just a manly pull or something else??? a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover

Found this pic on eBay.

Looks like a push fit to me.

Most cars I think they're just push fit with an O-ring on the end. Then a small bracket somewhere to hold it in position.

Was my conclusion as well. But..... Rolling with laughter we’ve Pulled with the both of us. Used pliers and a hammer. Nothing moved. With other words, tube hasn’t moved. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover

The manual says "remove and throw o-ring away". So pull Thumbs Up

I would buy LQM500070 and LQN500050, use a grip-plier and hammer. Good luck.
