Clarion NZ502E

I now have an issue with my Clarion HU. The radio has been a bit iffy when listening to the local radio station. I don't do R1, so have the local station on while driving to work. It's only 9 miles but some days I end up retuning it 6 or 7 times, other days I have no need.
Now the satnav part of it is non functioning. As in when I turn the HU on, it used to default and open up to the satnav screen. Now it defaults to the radio. When you switched between the radio and satnav it used to beep once. Now when you press the button it beeps twice and stays on the radio.

So I'm now thinking of removing it and sending it away to get checked/serviced/repaired.

Would any radio shop be able to do this?
Anyone know of any specialists that can do this? Or should I just bin it and buy new?
