In car security cameras

I leave my car in car port overnight ,some scrotes been trying to steal my snorkel
I've been looking at in car security cams preferably motions sensed with app for iPhone any ideas guys pm if you like cheers Chris

There are plenty of different types of CCTV cameras available, depending on what exactly you want eg a dash cam type with park power, a conventional cctv camera or a wildlife type camera.

Some things you will need to consider is location and power, as well as good night vision. If you have a good camera with night vision, check that the IRs arent going to reflect on the glass and therefore not give you a view outside.

The biggest issue is that a cctv camera will only record them steeling it, rather than stop them (maybe a mild deterrent)
