You are not far away, come and drive my TDCI 130. We camp off it and have two roof tents. I have been to Italy and back a couple of times and a TDI would be painful. 6spd makes hauling distance easier for all. Air con and heated seats and screen also a boon.

I would love a nice 300 Tdi 130 but not for touring. 1951 80" S1 2.0

Thanks for the kind offer mate! I'll keep it in mind. Struggling with the idea of swapping vehicles at the moment as we are scraping together a house deposit, but I think the Puma has a lot going for it - especially as we are unlikely to venture further than Morocco for the next 10 years or so, so mechanical assistance would be available if anything went wrong.
