Quite possibly a poor earth, do they go dim when the indicator come on?
Check any earthing points on the trailer, terminals inside the plug and socket, and even the pins on the connector might need cleaning if not recently used. |

Definitely a bad earth, white wire on the trailer electrics, pin 3 on a 7 pin plug set up and pin 3 on the 13 pin plug too!! I would surgest that if there are no broken wires then the pins might be compressed and they can be opened up carefully with a small screwdriver, but don't go mad as they are normally brass and wont take alot of abuse before
If there are no broken wires then adding an additional earth to the socket will work wonders, just double up the wires and run it to either a good earth on the chassis or, belt and braces method, run the wire to the negative terminal on the battery RRC 2.4 TD... it's either a stretched 90 or shrunken 110!!
