Def towed - what should I check?
Hi all,

My heart started racing when Ms Vogler called and asked where our 110 was. 'Fortunately' it has only been towed because it was parked on a spot where it shouldn't be (but where there's always a car).
I hope for the transfer box that it was lifted on a lorry and not towed with only one axle on the ground.
Bound to pick it up now.
Any advice on what I should check and how?

Was the hand brake on???
If so,it can't be towed due to Defender handbrake working on the propshaft.
So,I would have thought it's been lifted & carried away.

Yes, Belgian police don't tend to mess around. Lets hope it was lifted and not towed.

Yes, handbrake was on. Thx.

Police aren't thát precise in a city like ours -this 'hellhole' as a certain american with the initials DT wrongfully called it - where they always have to weigh in priorities, and certainly not when it's about cars that aren't parked right. But they get my respect though.

At the moment the feeling of relief that it isn't stolen is softening the upcoming blow of the bill.
