Interesting, but ... I wonder wat the benefit is over a wired monitor, as you only have bluetooth contact within a short distance (a few meters). So then when I am within that distance (particularly sitting in the vehicle  ), it is easier just to look at a wired meter than grab your phone, start the app, and read voltage...   Cheers, Vincent

I was wondering what the benefit of it was too. I mean, it's quite neat but I don't really see the point! I can see that it would mean you could monitor the battery without opening the car door and therefore triggering the computer (if it has one) to wake up. Or in a vehicle where a voltage gauge couldn't be fitted nicely - but do that many people actually care?
According to their website it uses between 6 and 24mW - now if you had a 10k input impedance that would be 1.2mA at 12V or 14mW plus the BLE system but that's going to be not a lot seeing as you can run BLE off a CR2032 battery for ages. So yes, by Cupboard maths their power consumption claims seem plausible |

Yes I agree prob not for everyone , I suppose if you don't want extra gauges this may an option. Maybe useful to some I suppose if using leisure batteries for camping or want to keep an idea on voltage drop when when ignition is off. The range is a bit rubbish …
