Sound advice please!!!

Hi, I've bought some "Silent coat" stick on sheets for my Defender. The rear side panels (no windows) will be my first target. Tell me please if I should try and cover the entire panel or will a single sheet of Silent coat be sufficient if fitted to the middle of the panel with a few inches clearance all round? Mike
