Check all relays are fully secure and negative battery clamp is tight.
Worth checking chassis earths etc too.
Check fuses are secure.

You never know it is likely just something loose causing the whole issue. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Checked all the above all seem ok it will also cut out if I leave it idle. Same thing start back up then cut out couple of times then won't start unless I leave it a few seconds then it's up again

I'll check that in the morning. Once left to idle it does tend to hunt now and then and gets worse before it cuts out so think I'll swap out the fuel quantity solinoid on the back of pump think I have a spare from a transit

If you had described these symptoms without naming the vehicle one would suggest fuel starvation or intermittent fuel supply but that would not give you the code you are getting. If it were mine I'd open the drain bung on the diesel filter and see if any water came out. Could be as simple as a bad batch of fuel. If not that we are back to the electronic fault stuff. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Replace the VCV valve on the fuel pump. P068 is a common dtc on the Puma which logs every time you plug in certain scan tools/readers into the OBDII socket.

Did you carry out a pump learn and pilot correction learn. Another issue can be bio contamination of the fuel system also the fuel ports on the filter housing are tiny and can get blocked with crud picked up from the tank. Plenty of posts on here about bio contamination and cleaning the fuel system.
