Housing for 2 x radio/cb units in defender 90
Is there a good quality easy install unit, either cubby box replacement or elevated roof type housing for possible 2 x din units, one for a HAM unit and one for a smaller CB unit?

FCX do a double din cubby box. There is also a manufacturer of a twin din roof unit which I think looks really smart.

I'm not sure you would call this easy install though. Perhaps the cubby is a better option?

Loads of options.

FCX Twin Din which is what I have in my 110. Its having two sets of switches though, one for worklighting etc and one for the strobe panel etc which will be in the lockable.

Mud Roof Console, which is getting my MotoTrbo VHF Mobile in it, however because of the motorolas extended fascia, it sits too far back to be comfy to glance at on the road, so I'm putting a split head on it and sinking the fascia further back flush Anything fairly flat and not +1" will be fine.

Then for the second one you could do the Puma Single Din passenger conversion, again which I'm doing for my system control switches (underbonnet lights, inverter, sub amp, anderson Isolators and other bits)

Food for thought either way. If you do go down the roof console route, get a retractable pen keyring jobby and clip it to the forward edge of the roof console and use it to pick up the slack in your mic if its dangling down. Works a treat from what I've seen.
