Is there a new AT2 out and if so what are they like? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

No. its just Grabber AT - new pattern, which looks to me like it couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding.

changed from GG TRs to BFG ATs and the thing that really suprised me was the nosie - or rather lack of it Confused

from about 50 you could hear the TR whine building up and up and up.

i am not hugely experienced on tyres but i do get a feeling that BFG tyres are a fit and forget tyre.

the ATs on my 300 took a beating off road on a regular basis, nearly 3 years late when i sold the 300 they still had 12+mm left on them.

says it all really BM52

England 2010 Defender 130 Puma 2.4 HCPU Rimini Red
My BFG AT2s have done 11,000 and not even worn the nobbly bits off Shocked and thats a loaded 130 were as my D4 on scorpions has done 10,000 and needs new fronts Shocked must be the wifes hard driving style Twisted Evil

Well, judging solely on looks is a very dangerous thing to do. Plenty of 'aggressive looking' Chinese tyres which slide all over the place in mud.

The GG ATs, on the other hand, are, IMHO, better in every way than the AT2s they replace. Which seems to be backed up by GG (predictably), but also by independent tyre tests.
