Abs and traction control lights
Any ideas what this could be , I have a svx with 12000 miles on it in storage ,, I removed the rear splash guards from the back discs and since then bingo I have extra lights on the dash ! Maybe kinked a wire but they look fine on both sides

Hi, you may of accidentally disturbed one of the sensors, try pushing both in towards the disc until they stop and going for a drive to reset the gap.

Thanks for the reply Gav40 ,, how do you reset the gap ?? Does this happen when you drive it or by physically taking them out and resetting the gap ?? Are they just a push fit

Just a push/tap fit and they should be all the way home.

Hi, i use to have this trouble all the time after a days off roading, the mud etc would get behind the disc and push the sensor away from the disc causing the gap to be to large for the sensor to work and the traction control and abs would stop working and the lights would come on.
As said above the gap will correctly reset if you push the sensor fully home and go for a drive.
